See more about this pub on CAMRA's national web site

This pub was originally Market Drayton’s first purpose-built cinema. The Hippodrome opened its doors to the public in 1927 and closed in 1966. After spells as a bingo hall and supermarket it now bears its original name and still retains some of the unique features when it was opened by Wetherspoon’s in 2007. There are very interesting photographsof Market Drayton and information about it's famous son 'Clev of Indai'. As with all JDW pubs there is a silent TV screen showing SKY/BBC. The pub is the closest to the bus station, a stones throw away. There is a ccommunity notice board.
